I'm a writer and editor with ten years of experience in professional journalism and a front-row seat to some strange stories along the way. I’ve covered turtle races, shot a flintlock musket, and have been backstage on Netflix’s studio lot.
My career has taken me from breaking startup and medtech stories at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal to Trek Bicycle where I work in inside sales. Along the way I've written executive profiles, edited newsletters, managed social audiences of 80,000-plus followers, and spent a summer as a production assistant for the PBS series Hometime.
I'm currently pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing. If I’m not working on homework or a freelance assignment I can be found on my bike, playing hockey or hiking with my dog.
